Default Tubular Shaped Philips Radios

Does anyone know anything about a "sausage" shaped Phillips vintage radio? Not big & round like the Ekco ones, but long & thin about 8" dia.
Sorry, no picture, but it has a red marbled case & sits on 4 wee feet.

Regards, David

I have one of these. Its style is very similar to the Philips 834, with Bakelite front and "Arborlite" sides. I have always believed it to be a supplementary L/C tuner/rejector sold to people living in areas where the standard TRF radio didn't have enough selectivity to separate stations. It would have been interposed between the Aerial and the Radio. Maybe I should dig it out and see how it works in more detail.
