Default Ambit EF5803 I/F strip

Ambit EF5803 I/F strip. Free to good home.

I originally purchased this in the 1970s or '80s with the intention of building an air-band receiver, but never got round to using it.

I believe that is it is still in working order but have no way of testing it.

If anyone has a use for it, please let me have your address details and I will send off.

If it does prove to be fully working, a donation to the Great North Air Ambulance would be appreciated.

Morning,
May I be considered also, please?
I have an Ambit Mk III tuner missing its front end.
Many thanks -
Guy

Thank you for your enquiry.

Yes, the AMBit module is still available, but I have to confess to an error in the description.

The module is in fact an Air-Band tuner, - frequency range 116MHz to 136MHz.

Sorry for the confusion. - I have not been able to find out how to edit my original post.

Let me know if you are still interested.

Regards

Alan K.

Thank you for the update, Alan - and yes please, I would still like to be considered (I have access to the appropriate Toko S18 coils that will enable coverage over 88-108 MHz).
Best wishes
Guy

My pkeasure, Alan

Just taken delivery today of six Toko S18 3 turn coils (5 ferrite-cored, 1 aluminium - the latter used for the Local Oscillator circuit) - completely gratis from a fellow 'Old Ambitonian' with whom I worked over in Brentwood during the late '70's My first task is to check basic functionality as received i.e. airband - after which I'll swap the coils to bring it into Band II.

Best wishes
Guy
