Hi,
I owned one of these machines in the late 1970's, is there anything in particular that you need to know as I may be able to help, unfortunately I no longer have the machine or user manual - I am guessing that you need the manual for the details of the DIN socket connections etc. rather than the basic operation of the unit; I am sure that I can provide you with details of these from memory if you need them.

Regarding the on/off switch this seemed to be a common problem on these models, and perhaps other philips models of a similar design/age (or so I have been led to believe)

I have never seen a replacement switch of the type that the N4504 uses but did manage to fit a Lorlin type switch (of the kind used in a lot of Ferguson televisions at the time; I worked for a Thorn company so these were readily available to me) to my own machine when the switch eventually failed, securing with only one mounting screw and this worked fine.

The other option is to bypass the switch completely and rely on the mains socket switch, which isn't always an option

BTW in case you didn't already know the /15 at the end of the model number indicates that the machine was produced for the British market.

Hi
I have sent you a PM, just remembered you mentioned switch cleaner..I killed the plastic on my N4504 by too liberal application of switch cleaner, exercise caution!!!!
