Default Hacker Mayflower II Speaker Cloth

Hi all

I have almost finished restoring one of my beloved Hacker Mayflower IIs. The cabinet is now good but the speaker cloth is not!! It is a kind of very open weave gold thread cloth stretched over a plywood baffle. The problem is that the gold thread 'stuff' has some holes in it making it look unsightly. It looks motheaten. Is this cloth type stuff available and how do you stretch if over the baffle board?

Have a look at what Sid Chaplin has in his range. He doesn't have a website, but to assist forum users and Sid, the forum carries detals of his stock range, price list and contact details here, where you should find somethng close to your needs:

Hope that helps.
