Default British telephones offline?

Seemed appropriate to post here...

I've been trying to look up some info on britishtelephones.com and all I get is a "Server not found" result. Have they gone offline or something?

Hi

I can't reach them or the company that registered the domain for them.

The domain does show up in whois so perhaps their hosting co has a fault.

Hi,
I have checked on the THG group forum, of which the web-master of the British Telephones is a member, and can find no mention of the site being off line.
It may be a temporary problem as can sometimes happen. If things aren't back to normal by tomorrow evening I will attempt to make further enquiries via the THG group.

It's been off for a couple of days now, no idea why though, the page doesn't slowly grind away before failing to find a server, it just instantly says "Server not found". Maybe their nameservers have been messed up for whatever reason?

It works fine for me. Are you still having problems?

Hi,
Bobs Telephone File appears to have started working again.

Yep, definitely working now, when I checked earlier (11am or thereabouts) it was still off, but it's all up and running again...

I've forgotten what I was going to look up though...
