Coil Pack Type TU49
Does anyone recognise this plug-in coil pack please?
It is 23 x 15 x 5cm and weighs about a kilo. It has three variable controls, one with an 0-100 vernier scale and a 2-pin socket for a crystal. It looks American, but only ID is "Type TU49". I have few of these in various states of dis-assembly some with different TU numbers. On the rear surface are an 8- and a 4-pin plug assembly. Best regards Roger |

Yep, as used in the BC610 transmitter.

Re: Coil Pack Type TU49
Hi Roger,
The TU-49 is probably one of the better ones to have as it covers 3.2 to 4 MHz, so is fine for 80 metres. I think the really rare ones are TU-61 and TU-62 which cover the medium wave and Top Band. 73 Roger/G3VKM BC-610-E owner. |

Re: Coil Pack Type TU49
Thanks for the replies - I posted on the WS19 group and found someone in the Channel Islands who can put them to good use. Job done!
