Default Demagnetiser types and head cleaning

Hi all,
I've just obtained a TEAC A-3440 and am awaiting a capstan drive belt to (hopefully) get it running. This is my first experience with tape machines, so I'm learning as I go...
In the meantime I was looking for some adive on general maintenence and demagnetising.

I have seen several TEAC E-3's on sale in america. I'm guessing they will be for 120V. Does anyone know if they are switchable?
Or is there a different 240V version I should look for and avoid the american ones?

Anyone have any other demagnitiser recomendations?

Also what type of headcleaner do I need and is it easily available?

How often do heads need to be cleaned/demaged?

If you type "TEAC A-3440" into the Search near the top of the page you'll fine numerous threads on this machine, including one very long one.

These may help answer some of your questions to be going on with.
