On/off switch repair
The on/off switch on my recently restored Paillard 433 suddenly stopped working.
After taking apart the volume control, I discovered that the tension spring on the on/off switch had snapped. I repaired using the spring from a butterfly plug, cut and bent to size, and after a few attempts it now appears to work just fine. |

Re: On/off switch repair
Nice one - it's amazing what a bit of ingenuity can achieve.
(I have a similar tale to tell involving the spring from a retractable 'Bic' pen and a push-on-push-off mains switch) |
