Default Removal of tuning dials etc

Hi.
I’d thought I’d pass this on.
Removal of the plastic dials such as fitted to the Bush TR82 radios can be tricky.
Yes I have broken some!
What I now do is to use IPA via its tube slid underneath the dial to squirt onto the centre spindle.
If you flatten the tube at one end it is easier to get underneath the dial.
After a squirt turn the radio upside down so it flows into the boss
Then using the plastic covered wire underneath to gently pull up and rock.
The IPA does not damage the dial on the Bush, check if you are using this technique on another radio.

Cheers, Pete.
