Default Desktop icon/shortcut to latest posts, how?

I've recently changed from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and somehow lost the shortcut I had to (presumably) today's posts.

Usually I find my way to a page I want and copy the address into a new desktop shortcut. When I do that with using the forum 'Quick Links' it initially works but I think it only works on the same day/date.

I cannot remember if I did something different on Win 7 as it was several years ago, but it just worked

How do I find the correct terms so I can get straight to the latest posts on this forum?

Ian

Hi Ian, right click on the new posts link at the top of the page, use "save link as" to name & save the .php link to your desktop or wherever. When you first click on the icon you will get the "open with" dialogue, and select the browser you use with the forum. I hope that makes sense!

That make sense Martin

I think where I was going wrong was using 'Todays Posts' rather than 'New posts'

Thanks
