I'm looking for someone, preferably local, to repair the above.

The symptoms are: on switching on the fan starts and the screen wakes up, but after a short while there's a tick and the screen blanks and the fan slows before coming back with the HP logo followed by the grid. This can happen repeatedly for a minute. Sometimes the screen wakes up and l can press the auto scale button and then the relays activate,.

I'm hoping that it's something simple like a dry joint or single component failure, but having looked at the service manual I've decided it's way beyond my skills and definitely above my voltage limit!

I can deliver within a 25 miles radius, or can bring it to Golbourne on 30th October.
