Pretty good, but his lab makes my tidying instinct twitch. He has a lot of equipment there duplicating items he already has... things you only need one of at a time. I'd move a lot of it to storage out of the way so that there is room to swing the proverbial cat, and bring in specialised items as needed. The cynic in me asks to what extent there is set-dressing going on?

He knows his stuff in general. I've seen him miss a couple of tricks in the RF area but nothing misleading, but then there are plenty I miss.

Worth watching, but claustrophobic people ought to be warned

Yes, agree on that about 12 volt vids, but he was in the electronic repair business himself for 30 years, as he will mention, so I suppose he is used to working that way, where as people on forums like here are now repairing as a hobby, not always though, so being more careful with the gear they are repairing, also noted the ‘solder’, not ‘sodder’, and again he has mentioned this himself, saying it’s solder, wonder if that’s a Canadian thing as opposed to an American thing.

The man definitely knows his stuff, But like others have said his voice is a tad annoying and his explanations a bit long winded, I'm more of a shango066 kinda guy. No polished presentation or fancy ''labs'' Just him a manky table and a ton of wires

In many ways his content is wasted on me.

I need more entertainment, so Shango066 and Buzz1151 fit the bill. Dickel Afflocket, Buzz's gnome co-host, makes me chuckle.

Glasslinger is my favourite, he's an old guy but knows his stuff, no idea what his day job was, probably worked for NASA!.
