Fascinating. And a very clean workshop, unlike many regunners of the time.

I remember being told by a regunner the A63-11X was not liked for processing as they had a tendency to implode in the oven! The A63-120X was fine in this regard.

I admire the dedication of those chaps! Wrestling with big CRTs and all that convergence stuff is something I am glad NOT to repeat!

I used to find that converging with test card F was the easiest.

Purity first, then the statics on the noughts and crosses followed by the dynamic convergence adjustments - after making sure there were no junky pots!

I always seemed to get the job done quicker than the PM card or a crosshatch. Possibly not as perfect, but fine for the customer.
