Default BBC radio on Commodore Computer

Anyone interested in the rise and fall of the Commodore computer may find this BBC program 12.32pm Thursday 25th January ‘Sliced Bread’ worth a listen. More of the business not technical.

Thanks for that - it seems it's available for a year from there, but I have just downloaded it as an .m4a file to keep using get_iplayer.

The Commodore PET also gets a brief mention, so ScottishColin may be interested in a listen for that
- Amongst their discussions on Commodore trying to produce a cheaper version of their Amiga A500, but the A600 actually cost them more to make and despite the higher-number wasn't better than the A500 whose sales collapsed as a result. So some bad marketing etc. decisions helped see the demise of Commodore.

A lot of this was probably covered in books on the Commodore story, by the key people there - Must read the ones I bought a while ago.

I also noted this broadcasts discussions about the original Datasette no longer working, and using emulators wasn't quite the same retro-feel.
- I wonder if the'd done any research and discovered these forums / vcfed etc, to see about getting it going again (no doubt the belts had it, after that period of time).
