Default QSL card Printing block

I have just been reading the first edition of "Short Wave News." They appealed for stories, and a post card sized photo of the readers shack which will be turned into a printing block. When S.W.N are finished with the block it will be returned to the sender of the article.

I wonder how many were used to make QSL Cards as suggested in the original appeal. Does anyone think they may have either the block or home printed QSL card possibly not knowing the history?.

John.
