Default 200 Years of Becoming Digital

Royal Holloway College is mounting a small exhibition celebrating the digital revolution and the half-century for their Computer Science department. It's one of the oldest in the UK.

I have lent them an HP85 for a static display, as well as some Colossus-era and other valves for their valves to ICs section, a sliderule, and a small laptop.
They even have a Babbage difference engine made by a research student, which is sometimes running under real steam power!
And some very interesting original letters about early college days and maths from their archives.

A nice little exhibition, open to all. Worth a visit if you live anywhere nearby.
The Prof responsible is Adrian Johnstone, a very friendly and knowledgeable chap.
