Philco UK 1930's models
Does anyone own or have circuit information for a Philco 381 Radio Gram or a 580 table-top radio. The latter is a "Universal" type with the tell tail barretter. I have exhausted the usual published service sheets (both free and brought) with no joy. Attached photos show chassis only, The 580 has no case as the previous owner parted them.

Re: Philco UK 1930's models
Do you have the Philco 580 service sheet Mike, as per thumbnail?
I have 2 service sheets close to the 281 (282 Empire and 1280, 280 Radiograms) but there are significant variances from the 281. Philco use very odd components in these 1930's sets! The 580 chassis cct would be nice to have but it works fine and uses conventional components that one can identify. The last cct diagram I brought from the above source did not tie up with what I had in front of me! |

Re: Philco UK 1930's models
Hi Robert
Yes I have Paul's Disc it has been a great investment. As I said it's available top right https://www.service-data.com/product...39/5514/m14239 If you are going to do a lot of restorations or even want to keep up with other people's in threads it's fantastic value and I know Paul is adding even more content. I have thousands of original sheets but it was still worth my while to buy Paul's Disc. Saves me so much time. Cheers Mike T
