Fixing an HMV magnetic 78 pick-up Mend it Mark
A rather competent repairer at work, re-winding a vintage pick-up head HMV number 11.
He finds the coil has further breaks after he's fixed one and still sounds happy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9Eu-1e2Uls David

Can't understand how he's always smiling and looking happy, it's not normal. It's a well known fact that only grumpy serious old men make good electronic techs with the odd, odd woman who likes vintage dagueroscopes and collecting switches, non of whom have cats which is revealing.
Seriously he does some good work and remains happy when things go wrong. Andy.

I've watched a lot of his videos. A real treat to see someone really competent, versatile and obviously enjoying his work rather than some of the 'think-they-know-it-all's' that proliferate.
