Radio4 low power this morning
Did anyone else notice radio 4 low sig ,I went into the workshop this morning ,switched the Marconi 22 on and was greeted with next to no sig on 198 ,tuning around found radio 1 Ireland coming through strong , tried a 60's transistor radio sure enough radio 4 very low sig , what a time to do it as I had just made a long wave coil ass for this radio yesterday . Re: Radio4 low power this morning
I believe the Droitwich transmitter is off, during the day, for maintenance.

Nice weak station to test and adjust the long wave coil you have made.

Re: Radio4 low power this morning
Ah, that explains it. I have not been able to pick up R4 here on LW since at all since Saturday at least. This was in the daytime. Haven't tried in the evening. I could pick up the Irish station though.
