Default Bakelite Restoration

This is an interesting article https://www.britishtelephones.com/bakelit1.htm
Whether applied to telephones or not.

I recently acquired this Pye 47X radio from 1947.

When it arrived I was amazed at the condition of the cabinet. Pristine is the only word for it!
Only problem is it puts all of my other Bakelite items to shame.
