Re: The Audiophoolery Thread.
Forgive my ignorance, but what are 'Streamers' that this device can be placed on?
Ian Edit or the casings that contain the streamers? Last edited by elanman99; 16th Feb 2024 at 4:48 pm. |

Re: The Audiophoolery Thread.
internet-based music players.
That's just their marketing department trying to expand sales by suggesting wondrous results from anything you place one of these amazing devices on top of. At £500.00 a pop, the marketing department will definitely see their advantage. If only they'd made it pyramid shaped, it would also sharpen razor blades. David

Re: The Audiophoolery Thread.
It's funny that streamers have been mentioned, as word has reached my inbox that one of the gurus of all things sensibly priced and not at all silly, Computer Audio Design, has just announced its 'Ethernet Control' noise reducer - a stupendous bargain at a mere £1,250.
https://www.computeraudiodesign.com/...ernet-control/ I'll take three! |

Re: The Audiophoolery Thread.
If you buy only one and place it atop your chimney, does it improve everything below it in the house? Hifi gets better, toast comes out toastier, wine turns to vintage, boiler runs smoother.... ?
Something like the cone of protection below a lightning conductor? David

Re: The Audiophoolery Thread.
Apologies if posted before, but every so often an idea comes along that challenges the sensibilities, shakes our understanding of the universe, but .... but ... no, I am struggling with this one.
This egg is placed anywhere on top of the sound system. It is mandatory to take our blind test before purchase. (Search Youtube for "Audiophile Rocks Blind Test") This Orca Egg is a used one that has been repainted, it looks like new. Used for a year by a customer in Hong Kong who liked it so much he upgraded to our flagship model. (The flagship model is the black and white one, listed here, approx £80) It be them danged nano-crystals working their magic again! |
