That has cleaned up very well, not bad for a clock heading toward 60 years old!
I do like the action of the Princeps movement, advancing 1/4 minute on the impulse and the other 1/4 on the impulse release
It is a shame your U/S chrono box didn't contain the pilot minutes dial, not all did, I will try and find mine and add a pic of it. I can't remember where it was mounted, I think it must have been in the upper cover, but not sure, it was 23 years ago since I last saw it.
I have often thought how nice it would have been to have seen it in this day and age when every phone has a camera and I certainly would have photographed every detail!

Here are some pics of the TR master, 6" slave and pilot minute dial that was fitted to the U/S chrono.
Still haven't got to the garage to take pics of clocking machine, impulse converter and reverser.

TR clocking machine, impulse converter (top box), impulse reverser (lower box), and a couple of time stamps.

If you could post some pics of the U/S chrono with the covers fitted please.
Cheers
Rob

Thanks for the photos, it looks like the little dial would go in the lid of the chronogram. The clocking in machine looks smart. Do you have you master and slave clocks running all the time? I'll post some photos soon, busy with work at the moment!

It will be nice to see the chrono with the covers on I might then be able to visualise where the pilot dial was. The clocking in machine is tidy and works, as do the time stamps. The master is only fired up occasionally, it is not the quietest as its in the metal case.

Here is the photo of the controls with the covers on, PSU and 1 minute pulse converter in the top, chronogram in the middle and batteries in the bottom.
Link to higher res. photos.

I've been setting up my other master clock, the power station version and it is keeping time to within 2 second per week currently. I have that running all the time. It is much quieter than the one in the photo above, that one ticks and resets very loudly and isn't currently left running.

Very nice, takes me right back to the one we had at work. I vaguely remember the minutes pilot dial being in the top cover, but it was over 20 years ago!
Cheers for posting and enjoy

They look like standard telephone exchange uniselectors, so would operate off 50V with a 50 ohm coil.

This system is 36V and the uniselectors operate quite violently! I assume the coils are rated for that. The resistance of the coils is different, some measure 40Ω others 70Ω.
