Default Vintage Radio & TV Display, 22/8/2010, Staffordshire.

Hello,

Forum members might be interested to know that as part of the Lupin Farm Vintage Vehicle Gathering this Sunday, I will be putting on a display of some of my sets.

The event is in aid of St Giles Hospice and the Staffordshire Air Ambulance and opens at 10:30, entry is by a donation as you go in.

Lupin Farm is at Orgreave, on the A513 mid-way between Kings Bromley & Alrewas in Staffordshire. You won't be able to miss it on show day!

Attached are a couple of photos to give you an idea of what you may expect to see - plus all those classic & vintage cars, bikes, tractors, lorries etc etc in the show fields......

Hope that some of you may be able to come along.

Regards,

Phil.

Default Re: Vintage Radio & TV Display, 22/8/2010, Staffordshire.

Each year this gathering seems to get more popular. This year there were around 550 classic vehicles, plus other exhibits on display in the show fields. Over £5000 was raised, which is to be divided between the two charities.

We were kept busy answering questions and sharing in peoples memories of their sets from 0900, while still arranging the display, right up until 1700 as the gathering closed.

Very pleased to see David (davidh1041) who came up from London in one of his classic cars for the event.

Many thanks to Andy (AF024) for his help throughout the day, and for bringing some of his collection to display.

Attached are a couple of photos of the display.

Regards,

Phil.
