Default Output Transformer Mullard MAS4/Philips 790A

Good afternoon all.

Do the two wires that come from the output transformer to the speaker circuit have polarity?

The 2 wires out of the transformer have negative feedback and tone correction connected to them, so yes they do have polarity, You don't want to reverse them or you may get horrible noises in the speaker.
But the actual wires to the speaker are not polarity sensitive.

Thanks Mike.

I'm not 100% sure they are wired to the speaker circuit correctly; what is the best way of checking?
