Hi all,

More coming soon...

Text is german as always on my page but perhaps you are still interested.

Best regards,

Richard

That's a superbly laid out document Richard. I will definitely read it with the help of Translate as my German isn't strong enough to translate in my head.

Regards _ Andrew

Thanks a lot!

I´d love to translate it to english to reach more people more easily but the report took already a whole lot of time (right now there are more than 300 pages left to review) and I´m afraid my english isn´t the best...

Stay tuned...

For the people asking why the hell I did this: In my view the Gould 4070-series is technically very interesting. At the time it was the fastest sampling oscilloscope available. There is not much unobtanium inside and you can see that they had to ship around some cliffs to bring it to market. It seems that some cliffs appeared even after the first sale. And the development to 4080 and 4090 was also very interesting...

Thank you Richard. My 4074 is still a work in progress but it will live to measure again. I even have new pens for the printer!

I am also proceeding with an English translation of your excellent work. I hope that is acceptable to you.

First pass is done pretty quickly thanks to the new Google Translate. Now I have to iron out some slightly awkward English!
