Default Alternative Tweeters for KEF Q15.2 Speakers

Googling e-bay and other sources reveals that I would have to pay between £30 & £40 or more each for replacement NT19C Tweeters, which made me wonder if it would be possible or practical to use a pair of conventional dome tweeters instead of the NT19C's, which, as some members will know, fit through the centre hole in the Bass/Midrange drivers. By checking the specifications of the NT19c, it should be possible to find a similar conventional tweeter, though no doubt the way the originals are mounted has some effect on the performance. Any advice on this subject is welcome.

As I noted over on GVR, there doesn't appear to be enough space in the cabinets to fit even a small conventionally mounted dome tweeter, so I'm either going to have to 'bite the bullet' re NT19C prices, or use the woofers as spares.
