Default Australian Radio/TV Collection

Hello

Not exactly about UK Vintage Radio but I thought you might be interested in this recent news item about an aussie radio and TV collector.

Interesting. You can definitely see the advantage in collecting small radios - what a nice display.

Very interesting Paul. The whole collection appears extremely well presented to me. It also seems to confirm an apparent irony ie that very many TV enthusiasts don't seem watch it [not " live" anyway].

This means missing programs like the excellent "Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies" [ITV this week]. He's not a TV collector but has an outlook on life not dissimilar to views expressed here [myself included]. His friends send him up a bit during a meal he's giving as he's obviously not in the contemporary digital widescreen mode. He explains to them that the "small set" they are all amused by is, in fact, a monitor that he uses to watch VHS [more laughter] European Cinema on ["and DVD's" he adds hastily]
Recommended!
