Default JSF Signal Strength Meter. Value?

I have one of these JSF Field Strength Meters, complete with instructions (!). Don't know whether it works. Seems to cover about 40 to 230 MHz in three bands. Does it have any value? - Geoff G3NAQ

I'm pretty sure that somebody will want it - even if it's only a £5er for the local dog rescue!
