Default Details for Cossor 13PPA valve

I was wondering if any of you have got any information on the Cossor 13PPA high slope output pentode.
Base type, outline, specs. etc.

thanks
Mike

Hi Mike

Normally the 13 series are 200mA filaments.

However the 200mA pentode in that series is a 40PPA

That's in a British 7 pin.

I have data on it if it's the right one.

Cheers

Hi Mike
Thanks for your reply.
We seem to think the 13PPA may have been a special made for Kolster Brandes, and is possibly equivalent to the 40PPA but with a 13 volt filament and possibly about .6 to .7 amp, in order to get the cathode temperature up to the same as the 40PPA.
It was used in a radio for powering off a 12v car battery, so series current was not important.

thanks
Mike

Hi Mike

Well I have not found any record of it so far in any of my Cossor Data.

There is a couple of other places I can look this evening in the archive.

What sort of date are we looking at?

Cheers

Hi Mike
Around 1935 or 1936 I think.

Thanks

Have you got an actual specimen or just come across a reference to it?

Just curious.....

I have come across it in the valve list in the User Instructions for a KB radio, that I DONT have, and as far as I am aware has not been known about before. I wanted some more details on the valve for the Radio Museum.
