Default NVCF 2009 - Forum Courier Service.

Here we go ...
Taking to NVCF:
  • Clocks for Mikeymushradio
  • VHS for Steve_P
Bringing home:
  • B&O radio from Mikeymushradio
  • Clock radio from Steve_P
Provisionally:
  • G8 from Neil29 for repairman 1234 if Mikeymushradio cannot make it.
I've probably missed something!

So far (but subject to subsequent additions):

Bringing a copyholder for Panrock to assist with his NBTV demonstrations.

Collecting copies of Practical Wireless belonging to Michael Maurice (possibly via ppppenguin).

As always, please feel free to remind me if I have made any other arrangements that I've forgotten about.

Hello,

I shall only be taking some of my sets for the B&B table and three which have been sold already. If anyone wants stuff taken up to the NVCF from the South East then you're welcome to bring it to Godalming. Guildford, Farnborough, Woking, Camberley and Farham are close-by.

Sadly, I'm not going.

Can anyone collect from Michael and take it towards Oxford? No hurry at all from my point of view. I don't think it's a very big set. Happy to pay a bit towards petrol etc.

Many thanks,

Nick.

I fall else fails I can take it from Michael. It might encourage me to visit Oxford or even (gasp) you coming to visit me here in London.

Also I'm worried about Steve. He's getting rid of a few things. Must be getting a bit gaga in his old age Or maybe it's just the shock of being on the road again.

I'll be taking the unidentified (Pye ?) chassis up for Alan Beckett.

I can also transport the Aerodyne radio from Michael Maurice to Nickthedentist since I visit Oxford often and I live just a mile or two from Nick's surgery. (I'll send you all a PM.)

If there's anything else that needs moving up or down from South Oxon(Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, maybe Newbury at a push) please let me know.

Cheers,

GJ

I'm making the trip from the north so if there's anything needing transport from the Bradford area or up to the Bradford area that misses Mike Phelans courier service I'm willing to provide an alternative courier.

Steve has already got the VHS now, so that's off the list. Was wondering why I couldn't find it!

I won't know until the day if I can go or not but if I do any spare room in my estate car on the way back to Wiltshire (near Warminster) would be welcome to be put to use.

I've never been to NVCF and will be extremely disappointed if I don't make it.

Ps are there any restrictions on photography at the venue? I usually carry a camera or two with me.

Funny question, but is there anyone from the Yorkshire area heading to the NVCF who's got a spare seat in their motor? Can contribute to fuel costs, of course.

I had to sell my car last year, and no hire companies around here are open at the right time on a Sunday to make hiring one possible

Hi Jeffrey,

I may need a couple of things picked-up from the NVCF (I’ll know for sure Saturday morning), these being the TV Circuits V75A crosshatch and dots generator form Neil F and a small EL84 3 Watt amplifier from a friend who has a stall at the NVCF.

I’m going into hospital on Friday 8th for just one day for some rather unpleasant tests . I’m fairly confident all will be well & hunky dory, but there is an outside chance I’ll not be able to make it on the Sunday.

Could I pick these up from the Harpenden meet on the 7th June?

I’ll reimburse any costs etc. Incurred plus a donation to the Museum .

Regards.
Terry.
