Mini Clip Probe Restorer.
I purchased a number of these for various projects, but noticed after using for a short while especially the yellow ones they broke and became useless unable to grip anything, came up with this Idea using a boot lace ferrule and has proved to be successful and seems to be a permanent repair.

Re: Mini Clip Probe Restorer.
A very good idea.
Just a tip. If you're using a camera rather than a phone's camera to take close up pictures like this, select macro mode (often denoted by a flower symbol). You'll get much better in focus pictures.
