Two queries
I wonder if you could clarify the following:
1. What is the difference between a Sonotone 8T and 8TA cartridge? 2. BSR Monarch U25, is this the same as a UA25? (there is no marking on the deck itself only a label inside the cabinet saying PS1 294 U25; 230volts 50 cycle). Many thanks Cheers John |

Re: Two queries
The BSR UA25 autochanger, introduced in mid 1964, has always been known as that. I have never seen a U25 variant. Regarding the Sonotone, the 8T and 8TA use the same double tipped stylus shank.

Re: Two queries
Thank you Edward, so is there a difference between the 8T and 8TA?
Regarding the turntable, it is fitted into the Bush SRP41 Record Player, and I am trying to confirm which turntable is fitted, as I said there is no markings on the deck itself, only a tag with writing as in post 1, any thoughts? Cheers John |

Re: Two queries
The Bush SRP41 was fitted with a BSR UA15 turntable, in an unusual black finish. They were usually beige.

Re: Two queries
Many thanks both for the information.
The info on the Sonotone might be of interest to Ben, he was asking for data to add to his sticky. Cheers John |
