Default Vortexion W V A mono tape recorder

WV Type A, early version with round meter.

This is mono, with two heads and two speeds. With original operating instructions and Wearite tape deck manual.

I have not had a chance to inspect it other than a quick look to take some pictures. But I have noticed that the Bulgin mains connector has a broken pin.

I have not tried powering it up - it has not been used for decades and can be expected to need the usual overhaul of electronics and mechanics.

This is being sold by the National Museum of Computing as part of their surplus sale and is strictly for collection only. If not sold in advance via this notice it will be in their jumble sale next Sunday (September 15th, see here: https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=159449 )

Price 50
