Default Can you identify this radio?

Hello

This radio was advertised in PW in the mid-1950s. I've attached an image of the Electronic Precision Equipment Ltd's advert from PW February 1957. It's advertised as a kit, but I suspect the cabinet came from some presumably out-of-production radio. Any idea which one?

best regards ... Stef

It is also in Practical Television october '55 for £3.19s 6d plus 2 shillings postage!
Advertised as a complete kit including valves, from Electronic Precision Components LTD.

I have never seen a commercial version of this set, I did have one in a brown bakelite cabinet that was obviously home built.

Hi Peter
Thanks for the link to the thread, it certainly looks like the radio in the advert. That's a well-packed midget!
