Default Hacker GP15 restoration

Hi,

I've recently acquired a Hacker GP15 that I'm looking to restore.
However, I've never done this before and am totally new to it so I'm looking for some pointers in how to go about this.

If anyone is able to offer any advice then it would be really appreciated!

Chris.

Hello and welcome.

These are nice machines to work on, but are too good to use for practice if you don't know what you're up to, so tread carefully

Likely work will include changing a pair of "coupling" capacitors in the amplifier, at least partial dismantling/cleaning/lubricating the record deck, and possibly fitting a new cartridge & stylus.

All the help you will need is here. Have a go if you're good with your hands, but if not, pay someone to do it for you or you'll end up disappointed.

Nick.
