Default New phones for the collection

I've today acquired a couple of additions to my collection. One is what appears to be an Indian copy of a GPO 706, but with four lights at the top (presumably part of some PBX system). It is marked T 088509/DJL11637.
The other phone I am less clear about, and have attached a photo to see whether anyone can identify it. I am led to believe it might be German. Markings on the base are SSB2912 AEAJ, followed by 00A7637.

Any ideas?
