Where does PM come from on Philips test equipment
Good evening,
I have been wandering what reason all of the different types of Philips test equipment begins with PM for their numbering system. I know PM was originally for early valves i.e PM1LF (Philips-Mullard) though I cannot think of a logical reason for adding PM to their test equipment numbering series. Does anyone know why? Many thanks, Christopher Capener

Scroll down to the bottom of this site https://www.radiodatabase.nl/
Meetapparatuur seem to be the Dutch word for test equipment so perhaps PM means Philips Meetapparatuur Al
