I've built a few JLH amps of his 1969 design. I'd be very interested to look at your construction when you've finished. There can't be many projects that give so much 'bang for your buck' as this.

After much discussion in this thread, I'm inclined to look at the low-noise designs from Mr. Walker for the RIAA pre-amp but there is much to recommend the Linsley-Hood designs as well. So much choice, so little time!
