Original power lead Hacker Black Knight?
Hi
I was wondering if someone could confirm if this is an original lead (see photo)It need a new mains plug but thats no problem as what would be an earth is plastic and snapped off! Its the other end that plugs into the P.S.U it looks like a plug is only supposed to go in one way looking at the socket but the plug on the mains lead is more universal. I suppose it doesn't really matter but I am curious!! Kev |

No, it's a standard IEC C7 lead which is required, which is what you already have.
The asymmetry is because there's a switch in the socket which gets operated when a plug is inserted, switching the batteries out of circuit. The designers expected the mains to be applied to the inlet either way round. |
