Re: PYE PF91, and PF91A
Electrohome Canada Trev. Here's a quote I found online;
"This amp uses a partridge WFB/.95 Partridge output transformer , a pair of British KT-66 output tubes, a 6SN7, a 12AU7 and a 5V4. The circuitry employed is the famous Williamson triode Class A and is rated at 15 watts RMS and a frequency response flat from 10 -100000 cps. Output impedance is 4,8,16, 32 ohms This is the last and rarest version issued - GOLD color with the rare potted power transformer not availalble on the cream and chrome versions.. It was available for less than a year in 1959. Personally, I think sound quality is better than the Marantz 2 or any of the McIntosh mono blocks." the schematic is located on the underside of the bottom cover too! http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3.../schematic.jpg |

Re: PYE PF91, and PF91A
I'm not sure which is rarer, the PA-100 Mk-1, or the PF91.
