Challenge Radio
Hi All
While browsing on ebay i came across a radio branded as a Challenge.it is in fact a version of a phillips L3G23T i have the Stella ST419T version in my collection and have seen The Cossor version. I have never seen a Challenge version before and cant find any info on them. Can anybody shed any light on these radios. Terry |

Re: Challenge Radio
Hi,
'Challenge' was a mail order catalogue brand back in the day. As a boy, our next door neighbour had a 'Jones' catalogue, and a lot of electrical appliances were branded 'Challenge'. All sorts from vacuum cleaners, irons, and other white good, to radios, tape recorders, etc. It was all sourced from main stream manufacturers and then rebranded. Cheers, Pete.
