Default Performa 630 battery

Mods please move if this is in the wrong section.

I've an old Mac Performa 630 which works apart from the clock - it still has the original battery from 1994, which has long gone flat.

Alas it's an obsolete type, a Rayovac 840 4.5v, about an inch square that is attached to the motherboard by velcro.

I'm wondering if there is an approximate equivalent - one option is to find (or make) a holder for 3 AA or AAA cells. But there may be some better idea.
