Yes, very good reading in an easy-to-understand form.

There is one small point which I feel is not quite correct: in the section on pulse-to-tone converters, it states that they were designed to be used on PABXes. Most, however, are sold as being for use with Analogue Telephone Adaptors (ATAs) for Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), where loop-disconnect (pulse) dialling is supported by some, but not all, hardware.
