Unhappy Dynatron SXR 32 problem

Hi,

Totally new to any form of record players but have recently purchased a Dynatron, all seemed to be going so well but now I can only hear sound from the stylus and not the speakers & have no idea why?

Any help needs to be basic - but am totally willing to learn, any help REALLY appreciated!

Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards

Dan

A few thoughts:
SRX32 is the chassis number. What is the model number on the label on the back? Some models had speakers built-in, others did not. In all cases, the speakers are connected via the two DIN pattern sockets at the rear. Have these been disconnected for some reason?
Is the radio or tape section working OK?
