Default Identify this set?

Evening all,

I'm just sat here watching Goldfinger for the umpteenth time and never noticed this set in the foreground at Q branch before.

Is it real and if so can anyone identify it?
Looks like there could be a speaker below the CRT and maybe VHF tuner at the side??

Cheers

Default Re: Identify this set?

My first thoughts were GEC such as the BT1748 but the neck components are wrong and look American to me. It might have been assembled for the part from bits and pieces. It appears to have some valves mounted below the CRT bowl. I don't know any model built like this. John.
