Default Philips TV sign in Spain.

Just got back from a holiday in Malgrat de Mar on the Costa brava. This sign was over a shop selling household electrical goods.

Anybody care to hazard a guess as to its age?

Also, if you zoom in you can see the spikes which have been put on the top to stop parakeets landing!

Ok I'll see your Philips, and raise you this Bush that I snapped in Gibraltar in 2012.

Can anyone date the slogan? I can't find any references to it.

Graham.

Graham, I call your Bush, add fifty to the pot and turn over the hole card... a personalised van!

The last sets to feature this RGB logo were K9 if I'm not mistaken. I would say it dates from the early 1970's, but presumably not before colour started in Spain (1974).

An aerial rigger I knew had a van with his name on and the slogan, "All erections guaranteed".

This logo was used on later sets also, at least the Norköping ones. Might have been used as late as on K30/35 at least on the "wooden" boxy ones.

I think the silvery frame around the colours were thicker on the earlier sets...

As I recall the later sets logos didn't have the Z-axis curved, but I'm not sure about Swedish production.
