Default Model Details Required

Hi and many thanks for accepting me onto the forum. I recently picked up the attached record player and am trying to discover what model it is. It says Ferguson inside the lid but no other details. I am guessing it's one of the HF range?

I think you'll find that it actually says Fidelity in that lid! It's a Fidelity HF45 transistor model from about 1967.

I think Edward is right about the make. I'm not sure exactly which model it is. It looks like an HF45, but the speaker grille is different from the ones you normally see, and there's also a pilot lamp between the two knobs, which the familiar HF45 doesn't have.

Here's a similar one, and that logo inside the lid definitely says "Fidelity",

Wayne,

Do you realise that you have the 2 screws in the transport position ?

(see pic 1 below, both marked with yellow circles).

You should screw these all the way down when using the record player in play mode.

Having had a look around, I think this is a Fidelity model HF38.
