A friend's Crate B80XL is cutting out after about 40 minutes playing. After a cct diagram, please.

I cannot help you to the schematic...sorry
I have just this tip that perhaps might help you Did you control all the welding points and connectors ? As I have been told, these are often little common faillures of (older)Crate amp's succes ! BR Ben |

I haven't had any success from the usual sources either, Ben. I haven't received the amp yet, so I guess that's all I can do; inspect, give it a signal then poke and prod, fiddle and wiggle. It would be much nicer to do things properly with the sig gen and scope!
