Re: DAC90A worst example
Thanks Richard for sharing the techniques you used with the cabinet.
I've recently acquired a DAC90A. It's in good original condition but the cabinet is dull and I shall be trying your methods to restore the shine! |

Re: DAC90A worst example
Hi Rich
It would appear that the polish you used is no longer made, but I have found a good substitute, from what I have read you need to avoid a polish with silicon in it. I to would like to express my thanks for sharing your experiences with us all. Can't wait for the next one! Cheers TYJ |

Re: DAC90A worst example
Nice job on the dac90! I find if you have a dull, dirty case is to clean with washing up liquid and a non scratch scourer & rinse off with warm water,
then use car rubbing compound (also removes scratches) then another car product (T cut) finally polishing with car wax results in a fantastic "as new" finish. |

Re: DAC90A worst example
I used to own a 1950s Ford Prefect with a 'Walnut' finish Bakelite Dashboard and I used Brown Shoe polish to bring it back to life....and it made the car smell nice too!
