Default Rexine or not?

Hi,

I’ve got an old Dansette Conquest Auto which is in need of a refinishing - desperately. I have looked around for replacement rexine. I only found rexine that has a leather like look to it, which doesnt match the original covering of my Dansette. It’s like a paper material.

I would like to get as original looking as possible, if possible.

Is what I have rexine and does anyone know if a replica is avaliable as I understand the original machines went abroad.

Thanks

Hi take a look at Retrospecialist.co.uk they sell Rexine and speaker cloth, I’m not sure about your specific requirements but it’s worth taking a look.
Cheers
John
